The 2024 Warriors Heritage Jersey celebrated 25 years of the club's partnership with One New Zealand while looking back to the beginnings of the Warriors and their original identity.

The jersey pays homage to the club's founding era, drawing inspiration from the original 1995 away jersey. It features the traditional retro collar and iconic original Warriors badge, giving the design a distinctly nostalgic character while bringing the look of the early Warriors into the modern era.

Worn against the Broncos

The Heritage Jersey was worn on field during the Warriors' Round 17 match against the Brisbane Broncos on 29 June 2024 at Go Media Stadium. The choice of opponent was particularly fitting, with Brisbane having been one of the Warriors' original opponents during their inaugural 1995 season.

The match formed part of the Warriors' Heritage Round celebrations, with the club marking its early history through the retro playing jersey and welcoming former players from the original 1995 squad back to the stadium.

The Warriors went on to record a 32-16 victory over the Broncos, giving the Heritage Jersey a memorable place in the club's 2024 season.
