The New Zealand Warriors 2026 jersey collection is much more than a new range of playing apparel. Every jersey tells a story, celebrating the club's history, the culture of Aotearoa and the values that have shaped the Warriors since their inaugural season in 1995.

From the classic blue home jersey to the heritage-inspired away jersey, and the three unique special edition jerseys:

What makes 2026 particularly distinctive is the range of stories told across five very different designs. Alongside the heritage-inspired Home and Away jerseys, Kotahitanga celebrates unity, Te Taiao reflects the natural world of Aotearoa, and Te Ārahi explores leadership, whakapapa and collective purpose.

Warriors Home Jersey 2026 – Honouring the Club's Heritage

The 2026 Warriors Home Jersey continues the club's modern identity with its striking royal blue base.

The standout feature is the bold chevron that sweeps across the chest and extends onto the sleeves. This is a modern interpretation of the famous 1995 Auckland Warriors jersey, paying tribute to the club's inaugural NRL season while giving the design a contemporary feel.

The jersey combines heritage with performance, featuring:

Lightweight recycled performance fabric
Mesh ventilation panels
Silicone club and NRL badges
Athletic fit designed for comfort on and off the field

The blue jersey has become synonymous with the modern Warriors and remains one of the most recognisable jerseys in the NRL.

Warriors Away Jersey 2026 – A Return to 1995

The 2026 Away Jersey takes its inspiration directly from the original 1995 Auckland Warriors away strip.

Featuring a crisp white base with the club's traditional colours flowing across the chest and sleeves, the jersey immediately evokes memories of the Warriors' first years in the competition.

The white jersey provides a clean contrast to the blue home jersey while celebrating one of the most iconic designs in club history.

For long-time supporters, it's an instant reminder of where the Warriors' journey began.

Kotahitanga Jersey – Together as One

The first of the Warriors' special jerseys released in 2026 was the Kotahitanga Jersey.

The jersey celebrates unity, togetherness and the special connection between the Warriors and fans throughout New Zealand.

The jersey design is inspired by the strip first worn in 2001, when the club changed its name from the Auckland Warriors to the New Zealand Warriors.

It reflects the idea that the Warriors represent all of New Zealand, not just Auckland.

The jersey is finished with regional flags across the upper back, representing the different regions of New Zealand and reinforcing the spirit of Kotahitanga, bringing people together as one.

Designed by former Warriors player Lewi Brown, the jersey was created for the Warriors' annual match in Christchurch.

The striking red and black design reflects Christchurch's colours while recognising the city's resilience following the Canterbury earthquakes. More importantly, it celebrates people supporting one another and working together towards a common goal.

The Warriors wore the Kotahitanga jersey against the North Queensland Cowboys at One New Zealand Stadium in Christchurch on 21 June 2026, marking the first NRL match played at the new venue. The Warriors won 38–20.

Te Taiao Jersey – Celebrating Aotearoa's Natural World

The second special jersey unveiled for 2026 was Te Taiao. Created by Dynasty Sport lead designer Nate Inivale, the design is a tribute to the land, waters and living ecosystems that shape Aotearoa.

"Te Taiao" refers to the natural world, with the artwork drawing inspiration from mountains (maunga), forests (ngahere), rivers (awa) and oceans (moana).

The design reminds supporters that the Warriors represent more than a city. They represent the landscapes, people and spirit of Aotearoa.

The jersey is scheduled to be worn during the Warriors' home match against the Newcastle Knights on 30 August 2026.

Te Ārahi – The Indigenous Round Jersey

Te Ārahi is the official Indigenous Round jersey design created to honour leadership, connection and collective purpose. Designed by Jayden Hokianga, who also created the club’s 2025 Indigenous jerseys, Te Ārahi continues that cultural storytelling into the 2026 season.

Te Ārahi means “The Leader” or “The Pathway of a Leader”. Its design draws inspiration from the sacred tones of Papatūānuku, grounding the jersey in the whenua and in the responsibility to contribute to something greater than ourselves.

The Warriors wore Te Ārahi against the Penrith Panthers at Go Media Stadium on 7 August 2026 during NRL Indigenous Round.

It proved to be a memorable occasion, with the Warriors defeating the Panthers 28–12 after racing to an 18–0 half-time lead.
